surprisingly pleasant stay

The staff gave keys to the front door for late returns. I appreciated this. parking access was a plus and breakfast was also included. i found the breakfast quick despite the busyness. the staff helped jump start my car when the battery died overnight. I was very grateful.
the bedroom looked slightly dated and needed refurbishment, particularly the carpets in the dining roomwith some stains.

Staff members were friendly and helpful . requests were being catered for, even some of the more interesting ones. This was very nice. the breakfast service was notably friendly and efficient.

The hotel offered good prices on drinks at the bar, a great benefit. music played nightly in the lounge. This was nice for those who wanted it. a spacious car park made travel easier.

breakfast included plenty of choices.
the bar only accepted cash for drinks under £10, a problem i found annoying since i wanted to pay with card and they wouldn't allow it even with extra payment to cover the card costs i was really thirsty and the bottle was already open.

the breakfast included lovely poached eggs (just perfect!) and quick service. the serving staff were friendly, and the receptionist was helpful with directions. secure parking was available for my car.

the heated outdoor pool was a major plus. it was easy to walk into the town center from the hotel. the pool area received direct sunlight in the afternoon.
